Is your website always up?
If not, you seriously risk your business. Your visitors do not blame your hosting company when they can't access your website. It is you who is to blame. That's what they think. Not sure? Ask yourself - you are a customer as well. What is worse they leave without intention to revisit your later when it is up. With today's acquisition costs your losses may grow to big numbers.
How to ensure your website and mail server work stable
If there is a problem, there is a solution. Web CEO offers a subscription-based website monitoring tool integrated within the program's interface. The service keeps you informed on the availability of your website. Monitoring centers in the United States and the United Kingdom work round the clock and perform end-to-end checks every 5 to 15 minutes, delivering a true customer perspective.
Whenever they detect your website or any related service (incoming and outgoing mail servers, HTTPS, etc.) are not available to visitors, our Datacenter informs you and/or any other persons of the problem. An error notification is sent to virtually any device (e-mail, cellular phone, etc.). It describes the source of problems and helps you understand what action should be taken to resolve the problem.
Prominent features
The most prominent features the website monitoring tool has to offer can be described
as follows:
• Host availability control
As it derives from its name, this feature tracks the availability of your
website (technically speaking, it monitors the HTTP service of your server
or host). In addition, it offers POP3, SMTP monitoring and host ping.
• Intercontinental monitoring
Your website is being monitored from the East Coast and UK. Thus you can see
host ping, download time and availability of your site from both hemispheres.
• Advanced monitoring
If your business depend on a website, you may want to use the full scope of
features available in the Monitoring service. Those are DNS lookup time and
download time, HTTPS, FTP, IMAP, Telnet, SSH, SNPP and content monitoring
as well as two custom port monitors.
Detailed statistics on the availability and performance of your website.
If a problem occurs, you can see the detailed log full of useful details. If you prefer the graphical presentation, you will find eight comprehensive reports with charts and other visual information needed to see what is going on:
- Connection time
- Host ping
- DNS resolve time
- Download time
- Download speed
- Timeout
- Time on error
- Uptime
Branding of Monitoring reports
If you provide services to third parties, there is a possibility to not mention Web CEO in your monitoring reports. For whom does it work?
There are two monitoring report types: weekly summary reports generated by Web CEO monitoring servers once a week (sent to subscribers of the free and advanced plans) and reports that may be exported by Web CEO users directly from the Monitoring tool.
Weekly reports are sent with the 'Web CEO' logo inside to all users of the Free monitoring plan. Users of the advanced monitoring plans (Silver, Gold, Platinum) may get these reports unbranded if they tick the option "Remove all signs of the Web CEO from the report" in the 'Weekly monitoring report' tab. For now, it is impossible to brand these reports with a company logo.
The software export reports contain 'Web CEO' mentions regardless of the monitoring plan (except the Free plan which won't let you export reports at all).
Only users of the Professional Web CEO edition, who subscribed to advanced monitoring plans (Silver, Gold, Platinum), can brand program reports with their logo and Web CEO will not be mentioned.Important note: Monitoring plans have undergone some changes. Click here for more information
